Betfair offers promotions to new users based around the sporting calendar.

How do you enter?

When you enter a Betfair Promotion which offers a free bet, you must first open an account. For most promotions you will be required to deposit to your new account (minimum £10) and match a bet. Your account will be credited with the free bet value within 48 hours after your bet is matched. Other promotions such as 'Bet £20 get another £20' run from time to time and work on a similar basis.

To qualify for a promotion or free bet, you may have to follow a link from a web page or email; or you may be asked to provide a promotion reference. You must put this in the Promotion Reference field during the new user registration process, or quote it to the telephone operator if you sign up over the phone. It is important to mention the Promotion Reference Name at the beginning of a telephone registration.
